The World Markets Umbrella Fund plc (“the Fund”)

In light of the Fund’s current investment policy which is not focused on investing in EU listed companies, the Fund is not expected to be a “shareholder” within the meaning of that term under the Shareholders Rights Directive, as amended and therefore does not currently have in place an associated shareholder engagement policy (within the meaning of that term under the Shareholders Rights Directive).

For further information on the Fund’s Investment Manager’s (City of London Investment Management Company Limited) activities in this regard, including shareholder engagement and proxy voting as it relates to the investment policy of assets held by the Fund, please visit the Investment Manager’s ESG for Clients page.
